Circle X Theatre Co. is a producing ensemble. We do not have a standing acting company or company auditions.

Auditions

You don't need to be a member of Circle X Theatre Co. to audition for our mainstage productions. When we hold open auditions, we post on Actors Access and Backstage, and often work with a local casting director. We aren't able to keep resumes and headshots on file, as we cast on a per-show basis and are a small, mostly-volunteer organization. Please don't send these to us. Readings and workshops are usually cast from actors we've worked with in the past. If you're interested in working more closely with us, please see the sections below.

Joining the Staff

Circle X is managed by a mostly-volunteer staff comprised of actors, producers, arts managers, stage managers, and designers.  The staff makes artistic decisions and sits in on writers groups, workshops, etc.

We are always seeking additional volunteer staff members with experience in Theatrical Marketing, Technical Direction, Development, Producing and General Management.   The time commitment is 5-20 hours/week, depending on whether we're in production. Please send your resume to info@circlextheatre.org.  If you haven't seen our work, we'll tell you that is the first step; we want to be sure you like what we do before you get involved!

Company Involvement/Volunteering

To get involved with Circle X, please come see our work and introduce yourself to the staff-- there are a few of us at every performance, reading or other event. We post up-to-date information via Facebook (click to visit) and here on our website.

You can also email info@circlextheatre.org for more information about getting involved. The first thing we'll say: come and see our work so you can make sure you like what we're up to! Then we can talk about where you might fit into our company. We are always looking for theatre artists interested in our mission.

If you'd like to volunteer with us or get more involved, please fill out this survey and we'll reach out when we're prepping for our next production. We produce once a year, so it may be a few months.

Script Submissions

We are no longer accepting unsolicited submissions.
