In the spring of 2014, she was selected as one of National Arts Strategy’s Creative Community Fellows to develop arts-engagement strategies in her rural hometown. Kate was formerly Associate Artistic Director of the all-female Shakespeare company Woman’s Will in the Bay Area. She holds a B.A in Middle Eastern Anthropology from UC Berkeley and an M.F.A in Directing from UC San Diego.
